The recent controversy over Tencent acquiring the rights to develop PUBG Mobile has reignited interest in knowing who really owns this game. This article aims to answer ( PUBG Ka Baap Kaun Hai? ) that question.
PUBG is developed by Bluehole, a South Korean studio. Bluehole was co-founded by Brendan Greene (the creator of PUBG) and Chang-Han Kim. Chang-Han Kim, or just plain ‘Han Kim’, currently serves as the company’s Executive Producer.
However, Brendan later sold his shares to Tencent Holdings Limited, leaving Han Kim as the sole CEO of the company since then! Tencent Holdings Limited is an investment holding conglomerate that is one of China’s biggest internet players. Tencent Holdings Limited is the single largest shareholder of Bluehole, owning more than 10% stakes in the company.

PUBG was released on Steam initially before being launched for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One later on. The game was an instant success because it combined multiple genres into one platform to give gamers an immersive experience not available elsewhere at that time.
Since then, PUBG Mobile has been released across many countries including India with immense popularity! The mobile version of PUBG has generated over 100 million downloads within 6 months alone!
The PC version of PUBG was made using Unreal Engine 3 while the Xbox One version uses Unreal Engine 4.
